Sound sample – “New Music at otte1”

To improve the acoustics, the event space at the Schleswig-Holstein Artists’ House was fitted with soundproofing panels on the ceiling in August. We are taking this opportunity to test the new, improved acoustics during a small concert featuring works by our current scholarship holder, Atousa Falarmarzian (composer, sound artist and performer), as well as works by Bruno Maderna and Gerald Eckert. The performers are Atousa Falarmarzian, Beatrix Wagner and Gerald Eckert. You can look forward to the following programme:

• Bruno Maderna: ‘Musica su due dimensioni’ (1957/58) for flute and tape
• Atousa Falamarzian: ‘unsee’ (2023) for enharmonic organ
• Gerald Eckert: ‘Verschränkung – ins Offene’ (2023/24) for contrabass flute, electronics and tape
• Atousa Falamarzian: ‘su’ (2025) for tape
• Gerald Eckert: “about water III” (2018) for 2-(4)-channel tape

The concert will take place on Sunday 6 September 2026 at 5 pm. It promises to be exciting – come along and find out more! Admission is free.
