Deferred: RUPRECHTS BIG ROD TEST 5.0 – Reading with Christian von Aster
RUPRECHT’S BIG ROD TEST 5.0
A black-humored Christmas avoidance reading with Christian von Aster*.
Christmas will never be the same again.
For in the context of this Christmas avoidance reading, the author views Christmas Eve with the benevolent eye of the storyteller through the satirist’s burning glass, telling in the course of it about a questionable Christmas alternative with an exotic small animal focus as well as eternally yesterday and cats with dubious political sentiments. Apart from that, in order to avoid acoustical holiday poisoning, there are also some thoroughly not unentertaining texts that have nothing at all to do with Christmas.
First, however, the author reads from his collection DER WEIHNACHTSMANN IM PANIC-ROOM, recently published by Zweitausendeins, in which the reader not only encounters Santa Claus in the panic room or witnesses the investigation of the murder of another Santa Claus, but also has an angelic apparition on the A38, experiences generational conflicts at Bescherung, and at the same time learns more about fake Christmas trees, the consequences of mulled wine-induced tenderness at the edge of the Christmas market, and a gang of criminal goblins.
To miss this almost contemplative reading is accordingly recommended only to people who already expect nothing more from life …
