End of 2025 – The scholarship holders organize their final exhibition
Final exhibition and end of the year
On December 20, the entire building will be used, organized, and designed by David Kroell, Franca Behrmann, and Vanessa Gravenor, and opened for an extensive exhibition. Four exhibition rooms will be used to showcase different artistic positions. Refreshments and drinks will be served.
The opening is on December 20 at 4 p.m.
The following exhibitions can be seen in different rooms of the Künstlerhaus:
- “paint job” by David Kroell
- “free recall” by Vanessa Gravenor
- “Feuer oder Feuer” by Franca Behrmann
- And for those who want to own or give away (another) work of art, 10 artists (including Thomas Judisch, who currently has an exhibition at the Museum Eckernförde) have made works of art available that can be purchased for a small fee. These “annual gifts” can also be viewed in a separate exhibition.
This exhibition provides an important insight into the working processes of the three scholarship holders during their residency at the Künstlerhaus otte1 and offers a unique opportunity to experience current contemporary art here in Eckernförde. The visibility of such artistic projects is particularly important for the region, as it strengthens cultural diversity, facilitates exchange, and provides impetus that is noticeable beyond the region.
Therefore, there will be no event after the market at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 20.
