4 Long Nights

In November, the otte1 Residency participates in the event series “4 Long Nights” of the City of Eckernförde with various contributions.

For the Long Night Theatre & Dance on 05 November 2022, the dance group “Surmy” from the Jungmann High School presented Ukrainian dances under the direction of choreographer Yulia Nuzhdiak. The audience could then familiarise themselves with the basic steps and patterns of Ukrainian folk dance and dance a little dance along with these movements.

On 12 November, during the Long Night of Art, the Künstlerhaus will present a double exhibition of the scholarship holders Kateryna Yermolaeva and Olesia Saienko under the title “IMAGINE” in the exhibition space between 8 and 10 pm.

On 19 November, Dmytro Lyebedev (piano) will play music by the Ukrainian composer Myroslav Skoryk (1938 – 2020), including the piece “Melody”, Skoryk’s best-known composition, which is also called the spiritual anthem of Ukraine.
